How do you date a river?

I'm told the Indus and the Brahmaputra are older then the Himalayas. ie they existed even before the Indian sub-continental plate crashed into Euro-asia and the himalayas were formed. But how can you date a river?

What are the dating Rules and Etiquette for 40 years old woman NOW these days in the US.?

I was married in Asia for more than one decade.
Now, two years after my divorce, I am thinking about start to date again.
But, every thing change a lot sense the last time I as dating here.
From the places where you go for your first date, what you say, or not, write and do…..All my friend they are married and they have not idea how to help me...... They all say very old thing or don't say any thing.....It is a lot of change…and I am terrified and lost…..
What should I do, I want to learn more about how to date a nice guy in 2007... From what I should say, dress, email,...nice alternative for places to go/not be limited to the tradition 7 o'clock dinner...
I want to make sure, that I am passing the right impress to be able to attract the right guy. I am looking for a long term relationship not an opportunity to go out with some one....

What do you all think I should do with girlfriend whilst studying abroad?

I've been dating a girl pretty serious for over 9 months. I'm studying abroad in Australia currently and we skype all the time, but she's supposed to come visit me for a week in 9 days anyway. She wants me to go to a southern debutant ball right after the semester, and will be very disappointed if i don't come, but i feel like i wanna travel SE asia as well and won't have any other options to do it while young what do you all think?

Is it true that in the UK sex normally comes before commitment?

I'm new to the UK from Asia and now dating a English guy. He mentioned that sex normally comes before commitment (he used 'official bf/gf') here. I can feel he is a quite physical guy although he didn't push for anything till the second date. I'm just wondering if what he said is true in the UK context.
