Asian guys who do you think are the meanest girl from asia?

I overheard one of my chinese guy friend recommended a white guy to not date Taiwanese girls, because they have bad attitudes and like to use people for their benefit. I'm Taiwanese, is this what they feel about us?

I’m a 24 years old tall Asian who thinks dating is a lost cause. Should I give up?

So I'm 6'3", 192 lbs on a good day, and I am born and raised in California. Well here in Southern California, I have never been on a date or had sex. I traveled across the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and of course, Asia, thinking maybe things would be different there but basically it's the same thing there. Universally short men are undesirable as well as Asian men. I see White guys, even nerds, dating Asian women day in and day out everywhere I go.

Honestly, I love white girls, especially blond ones. This is just my cup of tea. I find them attractive, that's all. Some like Asians, others don't.

I've tried dating sites to no avail. Bars and clubs are like a survival of the fittest atmosphere with all the tall good looking guys getting the girls. I'm thinking that my pursuit for a women is a worthless cause now since I'm so screwed. I'm thinking of just forgetting about women and just be rich.

Why were Europeans advanced before any other race?

I mean, they were able to conquer India INDIA, population 100 million during that time (which was massive compared to Europe), colonise the majority of Africa, south America, North America, Australia and South East Asia plus the middle east...

I know this is because they had technology, but the question is why? Why did they have this technology, how were Europeans able to develop this technology while the other races were basically in the dark ages?

Back then, people would have probably answered this question with "European race were superior people with superior intellect", you know 'Social Darwinism', but of course that isn't true. It couldn't be true. So what was the reason?

I know that there were races of people before the Europeans such as Egyptians, Mongols that were much more advanced, but ever since the industrial revolution the Europeans steamed ahead of the pack. Even before the industrial revolution, the Spanish were in South America.

So I know it was because of their technology, but the question is, why is it that the Europeans were the ones to develop the technology and were able to conquer other people, did they have some sort of geographic advantage?

I know today, I mean, Europeans are still very very powerful and rich, but some nations are catching up.

Also, do you believe that the world has benefited from European advancement? Science, medicine, technology?

I certainly do, makes me feel proud to be European.

EDIT: By the way when I say European, after a certain date I am obviously including the United States under the umbrella term of 'European'. Obviously because they are primarily a European country, though in north America.
Chinese were not ahead of the Europeans dicknose, the Europeans defeated china during the boxer rebellion. They took Hong Kong.
I know that there was a time when Chinese were more powerful, but I am talking about the period when Europeans gained technology, after the industrial revolution. That was 200 years before the period in which I am talking about.

Most of you didn't even read the question.
Of course I don't believe Europeans had superior intellect. I am asking why they were able to become so advanced.

The roots behind it all. The answer is obviously not intellect, is it geography? is it political boundaries, was is the constant threat of war that was in Europe that forced them to develop new technology? etc
lol thanks crapbag you're awesome
Of course I know that some 'European' innovations came from other parts of the world, they all converged in Europe though. Either that or the Europeans improved on them and made them into feasible inventions, sciences, medicines.

an example would be gun power, it came from China, but it was the Europeans who utilized gun power and created guns with it. (yeah the Chinese had a portable fireworks launcher, but hardly a firearm)
yeah, whatever your name is the one with chinese characters: I know allot of innovations came from other parts of the world, but who was able to conquer who? Europeans conquered Chinese, Why?

I know other civilizations were more powerful at earlier periods, but since around the 1700s, the Europeans advanced rapidly and left everyone else in the dust.

and don't go ranting on about where the compas came from and all that, I know where it came from, but all you have to do it look at where all the 100s of other innovations and advances in technology and medicine came from after the industrial revolution, they came from Europe.
webferret, I understand what you mean by being aggressive and adaptable, I think that is a valid point. Unlike what some other people wrote.

Gun powder did come from china, many other advancements came from other parts of the world. but it was only the Europeans who used all of these for their own advancement.

I asked this in another section a few minutes ago and they referred be to a book called guns germs and steel, possibly this was also a contributing factor.

LGBT: How do you feel about ‘interracial’ dating? Are your own parents an ‘interracial’ couple?

Being gay has taught me to respect others for the people they truly are instead of the people they are categorized to be. I have had the opportunity to visit both Europe and Asia and am able to speak Spanish, English and Portuguese. I love emerging myself in other cultures and meeting people from all over the world.

Scientifically speaking, out of the more than 3 billion human genome letters we all carry only about a small handful make up the entire concept we consider 'race' and so race is merely a human-made concept and not an actual existing part of our species. So there is no real thing as race among humans. But there is such as a concept as ethnicity and we all can identify ourselves with one group or another. Which brings me to ask, have you guys ever dated someone from another ethnic group? What is your own personal experience and problems that came from this. Also any positive advice and words of wisdom you learned from such commitments.

I'm Hispanic and I am dating an amazing guy whose ancestry can be traced to Poland. We're both American but our cultural background and traditions vary slightly. Personally, I love it. Whenever he is at my house I cook family meals and enjoy seeing his reaction to hot spice. :)

Would you ever date someone from a different ethnic group? What ethnic group wouldn't you date and why?
Yeah, the same thing with my own family. My maternal grandparents have blue eyes and are "gueros" and so is my older brother. My mom and my oldest brother and I tan easier than them so we have more of an olive complexion. My Dad has more of an olive skin tone too.

I think we look Hispanic, perhaps leaning towards our Spanish heritage rather than our Indigenous heritage. Hispanics are mestisos after all.
It is sad when people cannot be themselves and stand their own ground. You go gurrrl, you know what you want and shouldn't settle for anything less. :)

Why has Islam failed to inspire peace even among the Muslim Ummah not to talk of peace with Christians?

Since the time of Sahaba to date, Muslims have been killing one another over issues of Khalif, rituals and belief.

The only countries where Muslims don't fight one another are those where the Ummah is in minority like in the West and parts of Africa and Asia. In the Middle East we always see them bomb the 'Kafir' out of one another. In the most populous black nation, Nigeria Muslims in the north frequently fight among themselves or with the Christians. Why can't Muslims live peacefully at least with fellow Muslims!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????
Val,
You missed the point. I will not be so narrow minded to say Christians have never fought one another. As human beings they might have fought on one or two occassions. But even then not over theological issues.
Kookoo,
I am a believer in semitic Christianity (Biblical Christianity). If you know a bit of Arabic you would know that I practice Masihiyya (Christianity).

Nur el Masih means the Light of Christ. And of course Ben (or Bin) Haq means the Son of Truth----all literally of course. The true meaning of my name is much more Christian!

my class want to plant trees in our community for our community service. HELP PLEASE?

i live in a tropical area in southeast asia.

i was wondering on how to plant seedlings in our community.
we already informed the mayor that we are going to do so, and he said we should set up a date. we can't do it this november since we are lacking in the financial department.

i was thinking during december since it comes with Christmas time and i think we can squeeze it through even how busy our scheds are.

i want to ask on which month will be probably the best time to plant the seedlings.

and i want to inquire about which trees are best in a tropical area and how many feet apart should they be?

i'm sorry for my wrong grammar.
i suck at english.

What did ancient European civilisations (eg. Greece, Rome) know of China and the Far East?

I'm just curious really, I know there was the silk route and everything (though not sure about the date when that was around), but what did regular ancient europeans (as well as the Egyptians I suppose) actually think existed in the East. Did they know about China? Did they travel there and trade with them?

I'm just wondering becasue everyone knows about the discovery of the Americas, but I've always wondered, when did Euope and Asia 'discover' each other, or have they known of each other since the dawn of time? Oh and what about India? I just can't my head round it. How could they know about China and not know about Australia for example?

If you can answer any of my questions it will be appreciated.
