Advice For Men Who Want To Date Asian Women

If your preference is to be dating Asian women, then I totally understand. I've been dating Asian women for for a very long time, both in the United States and during my trips to Asia, and I've come up with a specific set of rules and strategies that you should stick to if you want to learn how to date Asian women (or take your success rate to a whole new level!)

There are some distinct differences in how you should go about flirting with Western women, versus Asian girls. With Western girls, I will often use a "cocky & playful" approach to be a bit of a bad boy -- I'll make fun of girls and playfully assess them, to let them know I'm really not "impressed" -- no matter how beautiful they might be. You see, I normally give girls the sense that they need to impress ME.

This means never answering her questions directly (rather than giving a direct answer, play it off with a joke); don't ask HER the average questions ("so what's your name," "where are you from," etc), and using CREATIVE conversation instead; and it also means teasing women and "busting on them" from time to time. Not in a cruel, rude way, but in a good-humored way that says something very essential to her: that you're not a typical guy who is hoping to impress her and "win" her.|One way to do this is to never answer a woman's questions directly. Rather, you always deflect her questions with jokes (i.e. "What do I do for a living? I'm a lion tamer.")

And, you don't ask her typical questions (such as "where are you from," etc.) You With Western women, it's important for you to take command of the conversation and steer it down the right path, and this means turning the tables and playfully busting on them. This shows that you're definitely not just like every other guy, who acts nervous and needy.

So the question is, should you look at dating Asian women the same way, and take the same approach? Well, yes and no.

A specialized approach is required to successfully pick up most Asian women, and a lot of this has to do with their culture and the way they were raised. When they were growing up, there's no doubt they watched a ton of "romantic serials" on television. (In America, we refer to these shows as "soap operas.") In these shows, the handsome lead actor is always treating his woman like gold, being super "sweet" and "caring" and tending to her needs.

The usual storylineinvolves a guy trying to win over the girl, but she keeps rebuffing him -- but he keeps iat it until he does something extraordinary to "touch her heartIn the end, she finally relents and they share a passionate kiss and embrace, and presumably live happily ever after (blah, blah).

Asian women are deeply influenced by this stuff. They're conditioned to expect this same type of courtship in their own lives.

Of course, there are Asian women who are less traditional and will date "bad boy"-type men. But most high-quality Asian girls, since they never want to shame themselves or their families, won't be seen in public with a foreign guy who dresses shabbily and has lots of visible tattoos.

This also means you cannot act like some wanna-be "pickup artist," using "lines" on her and immediately flirting with her in a sexual way.

The rules of attraction change a bit when you're dating asian women.

But it's absolutely OK to pay an Asian women a compliment on how nice she looks. With American women, I don't advise you to do this. (They take this as a sign that you're just another desperate guy trying to score with them.) Asian women, however, because they are so wonderfully feminine and take pride in how they look at all times, will be genuinely appreciative of a sincere compliment.

(She might blush and act shy when you do it, but she'll be flattered and touched.)

With Asian girls, it's also very important to demonstrate masculine behavior. Asian women want to be around a masculine presence, because they are so utterly feminine. They are perfectly feminine creatures. This is not the case with a lot of American women these days. Not only do they want to "wear the pants" in the relationship, they'll also adopt a masculine style of dress -- such as wearing baggy sweatpants and baseball caps. You simply will never see an Asian woman dressing this way, even if she's just going to the store.
