Latina dating an Asian man…help please?

i have just begun to date this really nice asian guy. he was born here but spent most of his childhood in his native home. he is pretty americanized (as is my family) but i'm afraid i may not be up to par as far as what his parents/family may approve for their son. how can i assure that i'll make a good impression? my family is very open when it comes to interracial relationships and marriage but most of his family is back in asia and likely aren't as open. i really like him and want to make it work. help please from other asain guys or girls who are dating/married to asian men.
