Registration is from 5 February to 22 March 2010. All interested participants are to submit their applications in teams of two, and must be living and/or working in Asia (excluding Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East). All contestants are required to be aged 21 and above, must speak English, as well as possess both a valid international passport and an international driving license.
Entry forms can be downloaded from www.axn-asia.com/tara from 5 February 2010, 9.00am Singapore time, and need to be sent in together with a 3-minute video to the address stated on the website. All information on the race can be found on www.axn-asia.com/tara, and enquiries can be addressed to Amazing_Race_Asia@axn-asia.com.

Are you a white guy but prefer women outside your race?
I know I do, I just think other races of women actually bring something to the table and don't just sit back and criticize while doing nothing and leeching.
I like the fact that they aren't spoiled and willing to work hard. Plus they seem way more family oriented, they still think divorce is a bad thing and don't need to hire nannies to raise their children.
I've dated women from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and I know I'm definitely marrying inter racially.

Attractiveness study:
In attractiveness studies by Race Asian males come last by every race of female except Asian women. They are placed 2nd behind White men, so even their own women prefer White men. Here is the study. This study was done by Columbia University + Harvard University + MIT + Stanford University about racial preferences in dating over 2 years so it is pretty extensive and reputable.
White women: 38% yes to white men; 27% yes to black men; 27% yes to hispanic men; 16% yes to asian men
Black women: 89% yes to black men; 63% yes to hispanic men; 48% yes to white men; 31% yes to asian men
Hipanic women: 50% yes to hispanic men; 42% yes to black men; 39% yes to white men; 23% yes to asian men
Asian women: 45% yes to white men; 44% yes to asian men; 42% yes to hispanic men; 40% yes to black men
From the study regarding actually physical attractiveness:
"For male partners, our main finding is that Asians generally receive lower ratings than men of other races. In fact, when we run the regressions separately for each race, we find that even Asian women find white, black, and Hispanic men to be more attractive than Asian men."

people tend to be more attracted to people who are more like them but at the end of day i think it's a heart issue. most people say and will only date some race is there any reason behind that ? is the world, America, Europe, Asia still not beyond skin color ?

I'm asian. I prefer black men. White men I don't find as attractive so I don't really date them. How about you? What is your race and what do you prefer. I am asian american, not directly from asia so maybe I'm not as old schooled.

Why were Europeans advanced before any other race?
I mean, they were able to conquer India INDIA, population 100 million during that time (which was massive compared to Europe), colonise the majority of Africa, south America, North America, Australia and South East Asia plus the middle east...
I know this is because they had technology, but the question is why? Why did they have this technology, how were Europeans able to develop this technology while the other races were basically in the dark ages?
Back then, people would have probably answered this question with "European race were superior people with superior intellect", you know 'Social Darwinism', but of course that isn't true. It couldn't be true. So what was the reason?
I know that there were races of people before the Europeans such as Egyptians, Mongols that were much more advanced, but ever since the industrial revolution the Europeans steamed ahead of the pack. Even before the industrial revolution, the Spanish were in South America.
So I know it was because of their technology, but the question is, why is it that the Europeans were the ones to develop the technology and were able to conquer other people, did they have some sort of geographic advantage?
I know today, I mean, Europeans are still very very powerful and rich, but some nations are catching up.
Also, do you believe that the world has benefited from European advancement? Science, medicine, technology?
I certainly do, makes me feel proud to be European.
EDIT: By the way when I say European, after a certain date I am obviously including the United States under the umbrella term of 'European'. Obviously because they are primarily a European country, though in north America.
Chinese were not ahead of the Europeans dicknose, the Europeans defeated china during the boxer rebellion. They took Hong Kong.
I know that there was a time when Chinese were more powerful, but I am talking about the period when Europeans gained technology, after the industrial revolution. That was 200 years before the period in which I am talking about.

Of course I don't believe Europeans had superior intellect. I am asking why they were able to become so advanced.
The roots behind it all. The answer is obviously not intellect, is it geography? is it political boundaries, was is the constant threat of war that was in Europe that forced them to develop new technology? etc

Of course I know that some 'European' innovations came from other parts of the world, they all converged in Europe though. Either that or the Europeans improved on them and made them into feasible inventions, sciences, medicines.
an example would be gun power, it came from China, but it was the Europeans who utilized gun power and created guns with it. (yeah the Chinese had a portable fireworks launcher, but hardly a firearm)
yeah, whatever your name is the one with chinese characters: I know allot of innovations came from other parts of the world, but who was able to conquer who? Europeans conquered Chinese, Why?
I know other civilizations were more powerful at earlier periods, but since around the 1700s, the Europeans advanced rapidly and left everyone else in the dust.
and don't go ranting on about where the compas came from and all that, I know where it came from, but all you have to do it look at where all the 100s of other innovations and advances in technology and medicine came from after the industrial revolution, they came from Europe.

Gun powder did come from china, many other advancements came from other parts of the world. but it was only the Europeans who used all of these for their own advancement.
I asked this in another section a few minutes ago and they referred be to a book called guns germs and steel, possibly this was also a contributing factor.
