Most White people are not obsessed, but a minority are (which is still a lot of people). There are so many White people who go to Asia, date only Asians, learn asian languages, obsessed with Anime, follow Asian fashion trends, involved in Asian politics, try to look Asian, eat asian food, etc...
So many websites that are dedicated to Asians are being overrun with White people. There are even some white expats who live in Asia to be pedophiles.
The irony is that these asiaphiles usually hate Asians and mask their racism with "multi-culturalism". What's weirder is that they hate it when other races like Blacks go to Asia. It's like they think Asia is reserved for White people.
Even western countries like America and the EU are obsessed with Asia whether it is colonizing it, starting wars, dictating Asian politics, keeping a close eye, dividing Asia, or just being nosy.
This White obsession with Asia/Asians is creepy and growing. The overall word to describe Asiaphilia is - NOSY.
White media is shoved down everybody's throats "White is Right!", "Freedom and Democracy!", "Blond hair Blue eyes!", "White guy is the hero!"....it's kind of hard to ignore that stuff if you are non-white. Asians are only 5% of America, so I don't understand why White people are so obsessed?
It's not mutual because we are living in a White world. So Asians that speak english are obsessed with Whites? I don't think so.
Whites have worked hard to colonize the world and make everybody worship them. Things are slowly changing though because Asia is getting stronger - which is why there is an increase in interest for Asia by White people. Some Asian countries do not allow the West to push them around and that is why they are constantly being bashed by White people.

1)Don't Be Shy!
A real sticking point for many Asian guys (other guys too)! If you lack confidence around women, how are they ever going to know what a cool, fun and interesting guy you are? There's no easy fix for shyness, only push yourself to get out there and talk to people, most girls will respond well to a guy who approaches her as long as he is relaxed and confident. And if the worst scenario happens, she will probably just politely excuse herself!
2 )Nerdiness / Very Conventional
Has to do with Asian culture, family and expectations. Go to school, study hard, get good grades then get a good job that pays well. THEN you can get the girl! A bad mindset to have, that you need money and power to get a girl!
3) Body Image / Not Going To The Gym
White guys in Asia gets a bad rep for being fat, even if its muscle. Asian guys in the US gets a rep for being skinny! Not fair, but something you can work on. Working out and lifting heavy weights will give you so much return, besides looking great. More confidence, more energy, more inner strenght.
4) You deserve white girls!
Some Asian guys seem to have negative beliefs about dating white women. Some of it may come from not feeling good enough or that there is racism to overcome. It's true to some degree that there is racism, but thats the same for all interracial dating. If you have enough confidence and believe in your self, others will too.
5) Approach Anxiety
Cultural maybe? It is normal for asians to do everything in (big) groups and stay with the group the entire time. But if you never approach a girl you like you won't get the chance to show her what a great guy you are. Most women respect a guy who sees something he likes and goes for it. This is even more true for white girls, because they expect a man to show his interest in her more directly and not need a support group!
6) Be More Direct Sexually
There is not the same stigma attached to making out or getting physical in public for most white girls, as for asian girls. In fact, if you don't touch her at all during the first 10 minutes you talk to her, you will probably end up in the dreaded friend zone. The best is of course to make her initiate contact and then escalate.
7) Have A Good Sense Of Fashion
I am a white guy who has lived in Asia for some years now, I know how important fashion and clothes are. Asian fashion is really cool and unique for the most part, so don't be afraid to import some style! If you have the build (see nr. 3) a good look for asian guys is the bad boy Triad look. I have also seen many asian guys do really well with white girls dressed sharply in more classy clothes.
8 ) Be More Of A Lover Instead Of A Provider
The family structure is different in the west. Men and women both work and earn good wages (I know asian women do this too), and women have been told not to depend on men for money, so they don't place as much importance on job and career in the men they look for. Instead they look for men who can give them powerful emotions and lead her imagination. Try do develop that side of you.
9) Hold Eye Contact!
Eye contact is a big deal in western societies, not so much in Asia. Hold eye contact with all people, but especially women you would like to meet. Just for a bit longer than feels comfortable and don't look away first.
10) Not Being Able To Let Go And Have Fun!
Asian culture generally encourages that you hide your true emotions in public, but western women will feel disconnected from you, if you don't show and share your emotions. It is also ok to disagree openly with something she says and say EXACTLY what you mean. Within common sense of course!

well it also depends on the person, some people are accepting and they don't have much of a problem some parents might "disown" their child for not stayiing within the same race.

What is the attraction between white guys and asian girls?
just wondering why they are the most common pairing for ir relationships. I'm a black girl and I had so many white friends in high school who were obsessed with asian girls. It was kind of funny really but I was just thinking that randomly. One of my ex bfs and I are very close friends and he is back from studying abroad this morning (not in asia haha) and we were catching up and he made a joke about him having an asian gf again...well he really does. I call him an asiaholic. Seriously he is 22 and I am the ONLY non-asian hes ever dated. And it's not like it's all him either. We go out to hang out or whatever and he will hit on these asian girls and they just eat up every line. Or sometimes they will hit on him depending on where we are. I try to interfere sometimes by making fun of him but hes just like "Hey don't cock block me lemmie handle my business." I'm just like "mmhmm. Okay."

I often see the question asking what's eyes color or hair color do you like? and mostly, ppl that answered are a girl and they tend to find blue eyes or blonde hair look best? but why does the reality life its so different? .....there are many good-looking, successfully and handsome white men that I met most of them prefer brunette and brown eyes on women than the blonde with blue eyes? my father has blonde hair and he told me he never dated blonde women since he was young. one time when we were in asia. he pointed the hand to let me see that most guys walking with blonde women tend to be non-white. for example, east indian, surinamese, black or asian. while most good-looking white men go for brunette caucasian women or the non-white women.
example : this guy is my fave actor. he looks so good on the movies warlock 1 and 2.. I just known that his gf. is not a caucasian woman as well.

What are some counter arguements that alot of straight asian girls dont prefer white guys over other races?

But thats because that they are in Asia, with alot of asians.

Theres a number of reasons
1- New asian fobs come of to the u.s. from asia constantly already married, or gf/bf
2- They dont get white guys because the white guys dont hit on them, and they are scared and shy too. But if the white guys hit on them, they would follow them .
3- Disapprovement from famililies
Most asian dads want their daughter to date the same race as they do
(as can be seen with most dad no matter what race) Some asian girls might rebel if their dad is the only one, but most family members, older brothers, cousins, would laugh and make fun of them for being a "banana" either being friendly (but asian girl still feels uncomfortable)
or being serious.

Do white men date South Asian (Indian) girls?
So, I'm from Asia and am 16. In a few years from now, I would be eligible for going clubbing. Even though I'd love to hook with a fellow Indian guy, there really aren't that many of them outside the mainland.
