Would you prefer to date a guy or girl from overseas or from the US?
From overseas would be a person that has moved from another country recently, Asia, Europe and the US meaning anyone who was born and raised here, any nationality regardless. Just your preference and why.

The U.S. Now this is specifically with dating. If i’m looking for someone to date and become serious with I would definately choose someone from the U.S. There would be more in common and less barriers to break through. If i was looking for a hook-up or someone to have fun with I would choose the person overseas because its different, new, and exciting.

I was married to a foreigner and I would definately go for the American. Believe it or not American men can be gentlemen.

It would depend on the person and their personality. It doesn’t matter where they are from if they are attractive to me.

What a cool question! I would love to get to know someone from a different culture. When I used to travel, back in dinosaur days, (the ’70’s), I dated many people in many places and it was wonderful and fun. Diversity is a great thing!

i would prefer somebody who was born in a different place, and moved here when they were very young, like me. so that they experienced the culture of another place, and not only the american culture and society, but they were also familliar with the american customs. but really, thats just my preference…if somebody didnt fit that catagory, i still could date them if they were a good person, it doesnt really matter where they are from, it just matters what the person is like inside.

Either one is fine with me. I’d go for the person who could make me laugh on a regular basis – and if he should happen to be an Aussie, a bloomin’ bloke or from a place where a long distance call would break me – then so be it!
It might be fun trying to communicate with a brown eyed Spaniard too.
